MELT assisted Pilates

-Connect with your Core using Pilates, MELT, and Breath

-Improve posture, reduce back pain, and enhance overall stability

-Identify and reconnect the areas of poor core function

Pilates connects to the core through breath work and movement by emphasizing the engagement of core muscles, including the abdominal, back, and pelvic muscles. This helps improve posture, reduce back pain, and enhance overall stability. With MELT moves you prepare the body for the Pilates movement. You identify and correct the areas of poor core function, timing and stability and reduce common compensations such as back, hip or neck pain and strain. Find that CORE Control. Your body will feel the strength and breath of energized calm with this class!

Body sensing is recognizing one’s movement/holding patterns. Using your body sense you will assess, do work and assess again. This allows you to identify what feels good and works in your body for your movement needs. Using your body sense to name and notice your breathing and movement patterns, you can more easily create new, more efficient movement patterns for a functional movement response system. You will notice the change in strength right away!

Minimum class size: 5, Maximum class size: 15
