A Night in Bombay - A fundraiser for Women Hold the Key

A NIGHT IN BOMBAY - An unforgettable evening.

A table full of friends.

A powerful purpose.

Dear friends - please join us!

A NIGHT IN BOMBAY - An unforgettable evening. A table full of friends. A powerful purpose.

For one night only, we invite you to step into the warmth, color, flavor, and celebration of Bombay—all in support of Women Hold the Key.

And this will be no ordinary fundraiser.

With just 42 seats available, A Night in Bombay is designed to be an intimate, joy-filled evening where incredible food, generosity, laughter, Indian ambiance and community come together around one table. We are incredibly excited to hold this special event at Lanhaus - an unforgettable event space that will transform into a beautiful Indian themed evening.

Our goal for the evening is ambitious: to raise $40,000 to help Women Hold the Key continue creating spaces where women can gather, connect, learn, lead, and belong.

Details:

  • An authentic Indian dinner, thoughtfully curated around beloved family dishes from our board Vice President Teresa Louis (and her sister Cedar)

  • silent auction filled with wonderful experiences and treasures

  • A lively Dessert Dash—because dessert is even better with a little friendly competition

  • Our Raise the Paddle, where together we’ll help fund the next chapter of Women Hold the Key

  • Drinks, laughter, connection, surprises, and a room full of people who believe in the power of women and community

Tickets are $165 per person, with special pricing when you gather your friends and reserve a full table. But there are only 42 seats.

That means every person in the room matters. Every table matters. Every paddle raised matters.

This is your invitation to be part of something that is both wonderfully fun and deeply meaningful—to enjoy an extraordinary evening while helping us build something we believe our communities need now more than ever.

Come hungry. Come ready to celebrate. Come ready to make a difference.

Bring your friends. Fill a table. Bid on something fabulous. Race for dessert. Raise your paddle.

And help us raise $40,000 in one unforgettable night for Women Hold the Key.

A NIGHT IN BOMBAY
42 seats. One extraordinary evening. One powerful cause.

Reserve your seat—or your table—before they're gone.

Field Trip: Seattle Waterfront with Emily Burns

Join us this summer as we take trips off the rock!

All costs for field trips (i.e., ferry tickets, entrance fees, food, etc.) are the responsibility of the individual. No RSVP necessary.

TRIP #1 - Seattle Waterfront

Explore the waterfront (Seattle) and get a private tour with Emily Burns!

July 22nd, 2026

10am - 2pm

We’ll take the 9:25 AM water taxi, then walk and meet Emily at her office around 10 AM.

Emily will take us on a tour of the waterfront and tell us some of what went into the new construction + design. We’ll also get a chance to meet Ruri Yampolsky - the Arts program manager.

After our tour we’ll have lunch together and then have time to explore before we head home on the 3 PM water taxi.

Please meet us in line for the 9:25 foot ferry from the north end dock to downtown Seattle. (It’s the tan dock to the left of where the car ferry boats dock). Be dressed for the weather, have money for lunch and bring your water bottle!

No registration necessary, just meet us in the morning for this fun and informal WHtK Field Trip! If you can’t make this one, we’ll be heading to Tacoma Art Museum in August!

More about Emily:

Emily Burns is the Waterfront Asset Management Program Manager / Interim Real Property Work Group Manager for the new Seattle Waterfront - which is one of the city’s most significant infrastructure investments — encompassing the new Alaskan Way, multiple bridge structures, and east/west street improvements that enhance corridor connectivity.
