Meet Our Speaker: Lauri Hennessey

A Vashon Island resident for more than 25 years, Lauri Hennessey brings a wealth of experience in communications, journalism, public relations, and nonprofit leadership. Her career has taken her from radio journalism and Capitol Hill to the classroom at the University of Washington, where she now teaches communications full-time.

A former Beachcomber columnist and longtime community volunteer, Lauri also serves as President of the National Women's Political Caucus of Washington. She's passionate about helping people make meaningful professional connections and loves showing others how to use LinkedIn with confidence and purpose.
