Connect. Learn. Grow.
There's no shortage of talented, hardworking, wildly creative women on Vashon Island. We're makers, growers, shop owners, consultants, artists, builders, teachers, and entrepreneurs. We're running established businesses, starting new ones, and dreaming up what's next. And we have a lot to learn from one another.
Whether you've been in business for decades, are working on your first idea, or are simply wondering what if?, there's a place for you here.
A Little Connection Goes a Long Way
Every month, we gather at Women Hold the Key for conversation, learning, and a healthy dose of island-style collaboration.
Our gatherings feature local experts, guest speakers, hands-on workshops, and honest conversations about the joys and challenges of running a business. We explore everything from marketing and money to technology, leadership, creativity, and the occasional unexpected topic that gets everyone talking.
Sometimes the best thing you take home isn't what you learned from the speaker. It's a new connection, a fresh perspective, or the realization that someone else has been wrestling with the very same challenge.
Our monthly gatherings are free and open to all women, whether you're in business, starting a business, or just thinking about one. No membership fees. No business cards required. Just come as you are.

Q4 Women in Business Shoutouts!
Thank you for supporting our growing community!
*Vashon Women in Business Directory Coming Soon!
*We're building more then community.
Our Vashon Women in Business Directory, launching in 2027, will celebrate and showcase the incredible range of women-owned and women-led businesses on our island.
This will be the perfect way to find the women who make, grow, design, fix, teach, advise, and create right here on Vashon.
More than a business listing, the directory will help us discover one another, encourage local referrals, spark collaboration, and make it easier for our neighbors to support the women behind our island's businesses.
Because there's a whole lot of talent here on Vashon, and we'd love for everyone to know about it.
Rooted in Community. Growing Together.
Vashon Women in Business is an initiative of Women Hold the Key, created to bring women together through connection, shared knowledge, and mutual support.
Women Hold the Key provides a welcoming home and organizational support for this growing community, helping make our monthly gatherings accessible to everyone.
Keeping our gatherings free and creating resources like the WIB Directory takes a community effort. We're always looking for people and businesses who believe in what we're doing and want to help us grow.
