Join facilitators Carrie Chambers and Olivia London as we dive deeper into meaning with Clarrisa Pinkola Estes's Women Who Run with the Wolves, (a collection of myths, fairy tales, and folktales).
The wild woman in all of us embodies intuition, creativity, and connection to the natural world, aspects of a woman's soul that can get buried beneath layers of socialization. As Dr Estes says, "We must strive to allow our souls to grow in their natural ways and to their natural depths." Let's support each other in this endeavor through readings, guided discussion, and sharing of our ideas and experiences.
Each class will be a facilitated discussion of one or more chapters of the book. Participants will get a chance ponder the wild woman archetype and what means in their lives in a supportive group format. We will share stories and passages from the book that illuminate the untamed, passionate and creative aspects of our souls’ connections to the wild woman archetype.
