Community Weaving Rehearsals
In Celebration of International Women’s Day
Join us in a special preparation for a meaningful demonstration of community weaving, celebrating International Women’s Day on March 8 at Vashon Center for the Arts (VCA). This event is facilitated by Suzanne Hubbard and invites participants to co-create an inspiring experience of connection and collaboration.
Join rehearsal at Vashon High School on March 1, 10:30 AM – 12:00 PM.
Saturday, March1, between 10:30-12:30 there will be a rare opportunity to learn Community Weaving with Life-Weaver and tapestry artist, Suzanne Hubbard. It is similar to the May Poll process except you are moving to the integrative rhythm of interdependent relationships. When words are failing to unify, community weaving provides a holographic expression and experience of mutual thriving. The word hologram is composed of the Greek holo and gramma which means whole message.
March 1 is a rehearsal for four live demonstrations of community weaving to be presented at Vashon Center for the Arts on Saturday, March 8, in celebration of International Women’s Day. Not only will you learn community weaving, but you can also share its whole message holographically—to our Vashon community. Fourteen community weavers are needed per session. The rehearsal, on March 1, will convene in the Vashon High School gym (entrance near tennis courts). Drop in anytime between 10:30-12:30. Community weaving is one of many art activities being organized by Women Hold the Key in celebration of International Women’s Day at VCA.
