CROWN MAKING CRAFTSHOP: Get Ready for our 2nd Annual Goddess Walk in Vashon’s Strawberry Festival Parade!
Join Women Hold the Key for a free, joyful Crown-Making Craftshop on July 16th as we prepare to walk together in the Strawberry Festival Parade on Saturday, July 18th!
Once again, our beautiful Emily Burns will guide us in creating crowns, costume pieces, and festive adornments using fresh flowers, greenery, ribbons, beads, feathers, and whatever sparks your imagination. This is a relaxed, creative afternoon for anyone who wants to show up, make something beautiful, and be part of the magic.
Our Goddess Walk in the Strawberry Festival Parade is a celebration of women everywhere. Come walk with us in support of women, community, creativity, visibility, and joy. Costumes are welcome, but not required. Whether you arrive fully adorned or simply ready to walk, you belong.
For the craftshop, we’ll have some materials available, including flowers, greens, and basic supplies, and we invite you to bring anything you’d like to contribute or use in your own crown.
Helpful things to bring:
Fresh flowers, greenery, ribbon, beads, feathers, small decorative pieces, scissors or pruning shears, floral wire, elastic bands, glue guns, glue sticks, or any craft supplies you love.
This event is free and open to all who want to create, connect, and prepare for a beautiful walk together.
Show up. Shine bright. Walk proud.
