An Introductory Course to Better Understanding The Parts Down There.

Are you one of the many people on this Earth who grew up with the belief system that leaking urine after pregnancy or menopause is "normal" and “just how it goes?” Or were you told pain with sex or the inability to experience pleasure is "just a part of life?" Many people don’t know allot about the pelvic floor: what it is, what role it plays and the problems that can happen when the pelvic floor does not work as well as it could.

Pelvic floor dysfunction such as incontinence (of urine and/or bowel), pain and decreased pleasure with sexual activities, does not have to be the status quo in any person at any age. Come join other islanders as we learn what the pelvic floor is and begin to unlearn many outdated myths along the way. Gain insight, knowledge and freedom around this often overlooked part of your body with a pelvic floor physical therapist.

This introductory course is intended to assist women, non-binary and trans people, people of all sexualities, races, physical abilities, religions and neurological abilities develop a better understanding of the pelvic floor.
