This is Session 2 of a 3 Session Class - You must register for all three
Catherine Cochran and Jamie Wolf will teach us how we can be prepared for life’s unexpected events from minor inconveniences to life threatening situations.
‘Being prepared’ starts with our state of mind and impacts many aspects of our lives from health to relationships to finances to long term resilience.
In this workshop we focus on ‘Personal Preparedness’ from a disaster perspective.
Learn what are the most common disaster events in our area and how to prepare for them whether you’re at home, at work, or on the road for you and your family and friends. In addition, we’ll explore how the island is prepared by discussing VIFR and the well-established volunteer disaster response organizations.
This is a Three-Session Class
