The Badass and The Bunny - Balancing our reactions to daily life - with Alexis Geers

  • Women Hold the Key @ the Synergy Center for Women 9822 Southwest Gorsuch Road - upstairs Vashon, WA, 98070 United States (map)

This 2 hour, in person workshop focuses on the balance between having a strong, independent, courageous spirit and a vulnerable, soft, compassionate soul.

We all contain portions of the above within us and this workshop allows us to realize each is valuable. In this workshop, we look at honoring both sides of how we show up as humans - strong and soft coming together in the beautiful and unique mix that is you.

The workshop will contain a brief introduction, handouts, self-reflection, one-on-one and group sharing as we come together in community to share our greatest treasure - ourselves. A main focal point will be on our reactions to life's ever changing ebbs and flows. Do we tend to react immediately in the way of the Badass, or Bunny, style? How do we show up when life is presenting itself to us, and does that work for us? Are there better ways we can begin to respond, vs react, with a balance of being a Badass Bunny?

More abut Alexis:

While I have been a lifelong 'grower' and constantly sought development within my character, I must admit I am a person who often changes at the speed of pain. Many times my life has transitioned due to creative frustration, grief, addiction, heartache, job loss or desperation. Often, it is only when I reach those spaces of extreme discomfort, have I been truly willing to take the steps needed to begin soul growth. In each instance, once I recognized my discomfort had finally exceeded my comfort, only then was I able to find the embers of change which lead me to growth. Mindful Badass is a way of living and loving yourself through these timess of growth, as well as provide suggestions of tools you will be able to use along the way to obtain the inner peace and serenity we all crave.
