Plunge and Melt for a purpose!
Join us for a heart-warming (and invigorating) fundraiser in support of Women Hold the Key, featuring a refreshing cold Puget Sound plunge, restorative sauna, and a cozy hot chocolate bar.
This playful contrast of courage and comfort helps celebrate our resilience, connection, and care for our community on a very auspicious day (Friday the 13th and Galentines Day)! In addition to supporting our cause, the mental and medical benefits of plunge and sauna are many!
Here is a link to some of the benefits
Your spot will secure you a 1 hour session in which you plunge into the sound then jump into a hot wood burning sauna. Each session can see as many as four plunge and sauna opportunities!
You are the boss of your cycling schedule! You can start and end on cold or hot.
For the hot, you can step out of the sauna at anytime and reap plenty of benefits. No matter your experience level, take a break after 15-20 consecutive minutes in the sauna to allow your core temperature to come down.
For the cold, any amount of cold water exposure complements sauna use and helps your body cool down quickly. If the cold water is not for you, time in the cool air is also beneficial.
All genders welcome, 14 people per session max - book with a group and enjoy it together!
Suggested donation: $50 (but we always welcome more!)
Every plunge, steam, and sip helps fund free programs and welcoming space for women in our community.
This unique opportunity is brought to you with our co-sponsors Vashon Park District and Good Day Sauna (a woman owned company).
