LEADERS, COLLABORATORS, & INNOVATORS AT THE TABLE!
2026 WOMEN IN BUSINESS FORUM MEETING at Women Hold the Key
Women-owned businesses in small towns represent a powerful force in local leadership. They bring together entrepreneurship, community knowledge, and relationship-based leadership to drive economic opportunity and sustainable development.
We will have an opportunity to get to know each other and connect over our shared challenges and wins of having a business on a small island. We’ll figure out together what we need and how we can work in community to make all of our businesses sucessful and sustainable in this challenging world!
Please bring business cards and let us know what you are up to, have thoughts about how best to develop this group and how often you would like to meet.
These meetings are generously sponsored by Sotheby’s International Real Estate - Vashon Branch.
For Sunday’s meeting:
Canva for Your Business, Please bring your laptop.
Design experience is not required for this session.
Canva is a business tool that helps make communicating your business faster, easier, and more consistent. Instead of starting from scratch every time you need a flyer, social post, email graphic, or event promotion, Consider using a tool where you can design a simple system using your own brand colors, images, fonts, logos, and reusable templates, as well as managing your photos, digital illustrations or handdrawn media to create the vibes that are truly you.
In this session, You’ll learn how to set up Canva for your business, build your Brand Kit, upload and organize content, invite team members, and use Canva’s templates and assets for inspiration. The goal is to make it easier to create and build on-brand content whenever you need it.
If you haven’t used it, go to Canva.com to learn more about this platform.
